Exactly right, Joel. They do that as soon as the chicks are hatched.
Learning comes mostly while young - understanding comes much later in life.

Now at what point do they lose their fingers? Is this before or after they chop their nuggets?

The fingers are removed at about 8 weeks of age. It's done through a special process developed and patented by the McDonald Corp, International.

And trust me - you don't want to know ANYTHING about the nuggets!!!!!

(And the same goes for those birds genetically crossed with the American Bison to produce those special wings.) Some things are best kept as secrets, Ed.
